July 13, Reno, NV. Hello everyone, I am sitting on the bus the morning after;-) Last night was the first show in Reno. We were all excited and I could feel the electric energy all around the dressing room area. Waiting for that first show was like being in the pit in the movie Gladiator. We were biting at the bit... We hit the stage running. The first song was like a bomb going off. This band is the stuff. You could tell that Bruce wanted to take a new journey and we were more than willing to buy a ticket. There were new twist and turns along the way. I am always amazed at how this band comes together to make great music. There were a few surprises for the people. Before the show Bruce came to everyone and asked what songs we all wanted to do this year. He wanted to give the people some different things. One of the songs that you will hear this year is Jack Straw. (I'm sure there are more than a few of you that will love this). The audience was with us from the first note. They were dancing in the aisles, the seats and on the grass. We played a great little venue that Bruce called The Charles Barkley Hall. A great place to play. This is going to be a great tour. For those of you that have tickets, you will have a ball. To the rest of you, come on and get on the bus:-) We are waiting for you. The next stop is Portland..... We love Portland.......
