August 13 - Charlotte, NC

HellloOO! CHARLOTTE!

We came, we saw and we had a great time. We played a small but great venue here in Charlotte. I will call it The Mighty M. because I am to tired too remember the name:-) Sorry Charlotte. The audience for this show was special. The listened in the soft spots and partied in the loud spots. We loved you! In a manly way:-)

Bruce was in rare form tonight because this venue allowed for solo piano. It was intimate enough to let Bruce strut his stuff without the band getting in the way. And I love it because it lets me watch the audience by sneaking out among you for a while.

We had a day off in Charlotte before the concert. One of Bruce's best friends lives here and invited Sonny and I over for dinner. We had a great time eating all of his food and playing with this great dog. Thanks to Derwin and Pam for sharing your family with us (The greens were off the chain).

The show tonight had some great musical moments. In true Noisemaker fashion, we got into some different things in White Wheel. It was fun. It was great playing The Chill again. And The Mighty M. audience came along for the ride without a flinch. You Rock!!!!!!!!!

We even had a stage dance moment here although, I don't think the people were ready for it at first. It took a second shout out from Bruce before the lady's got it. But, then it was on like donkey kong! JT even got a special dance from a nice young lady from Charlotte, with a little suggestion from Bruce:-)

It is now 5:23AM and I am on my way to the gym. As some of you know. I can't sleep much so the gym will knock my ass out for a while. Thanks again Charlotte for you enthusiasm, we loved playing for you. I hope this becomes a marriage for a long time. I mean that in a manly way;-) We will see you soon.

I'm out like George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson etc...... I think you get the picture.

In the words of that great speaker...... "Don't get no stink on ya".
