August 25 - Osyter Bay, NY

Allright Oyster Bay! You guys are nuts. You guys were loud and proud. I loved it. We had never played this venue before and the people were waiting for us. I love it when you get what we do. Bruce was playing his ass off. Sonny killed it again. Bobby Read was great, Doug was awesome and JT was smooth as silk. And me, you ask? Well I was my regular super hero self.  From the stage the sound was great. There are times that I wish that I could see the show from the eyes of the audience.  I wonder what the hell we look like up there winging it?

Looking out on the audience is great. I love watching your faces and watching you groove with us. But, sometimes the goove is just wrongJ  Come on good people. Groove Ed 101 is open every night we play. There will be a test this week;-)

I also had a chance to see some of my favorite people. This was really a good show. I know that I am not mentioning any songs. That is because I don’t remember what we played. But, I do know that it was good J I hope we come back. Now, some of you might ask yourselves this question. Why are you not talking about the drama? I don’t want to put any negative stuff in the diary. Let’s just say this. Please monitor your drinking people. For your own goodJ

(Now this is for my good friend Ms. Doug. She is having a problem with her Brooklyn community. They want to build a basketball arena across the street from her house.  She is making me write thisJ  “Please don’t put this in on her street”. I hope this helps Ms. Doug.:-)  I will use my Super Hero powers to help out the Derryberrys J (yall let me know if my powers help).
