August 26 - Lowell, MA Well hello you good people. The last night of the tour was another great outing for the Noisemakers and our crowd. Lowell is a very beautiful city about 30 minutes from Boston. The whole scene would remind some of a street festival. A nice small park. But the crowd was great. We had a great opening band tonight (at least I thought so). The Brew. These guys sounded great and played some great music. It reminded us of a cross between ourselves and Sting. And they were really nice guys.; I had a chance to sit and talk to them for a while, it reminded me of me, before I got old and cranky:-) I wish these guys all the luck in the world. We need more musicians like this. I have to say this show was great but way too short. We could only play one hour and forty five minutes. As some of you know, that's just two songs for us;-) By the time the show was done, I was just starting to get into it. Yikes! Is that all? I had a chance to walk around and talk to the people. Thanks you guys for all of the kind words. We love playing for ya. I'm going to miss my boys. JT, Bobby, Sonny, Reggie, Chuck, Doug, Peter, Manuel (I got the spelling right this time:-)), Caldwell and the big boy Bruce... I think we made some good music this time. A special thanks to the extended musical family. R.S., Joe Lee. This tour had some magic. But now it's time for all good little super heroes to put the cape back in the closet:-) But hey! Don't be a stranger. I am still going to write in the diary. There is always silly stuff happening to me and you just might want to check in from time to time. For those interested. I already have a 6:30AM tee time. It's time for me to get my Tiger on:-) Yeah Baby! I am going to shoot a 64 (for you that don't know and don't care, a64 is great).
