July 12 .. Milwaukee, Wisconsin Okay, here we are with the second show. We are playing a casino in Milwaukee. This is the second time for us here and, I am really excited about this show. We are in the dressing room having dinner and Bruce is trying to talk Sonny and I into wearing a pair of his grandfather's golf pants. I have worn them before and, some said that I looked like a pimp in them:-) That was funny... So I passed this time. There are not two many things that I will say no to but, this was one. So, Bruce wore a pair and it was quite funny, at least to me. And now about the show. We had a lot of great request before the show and Bruce decided to use those to call the set list (Yikes!) What is going on here? Sometimes I feel like we are in the Twilight Zone. Can we just play a safe set?;-) You all know the answer to that question.... IT IS NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! We start the night off with Harbour Lights, I really miss playing that song. It's been a long time since we've played it and it sounded amazing, and fresh. And then it was off to the races.. Everything went by so fast. I don't remember most of what we played. (I must be getting old:-)). But, I think it was good. The aucience was great. Again, they were right on top of us and, we could see and hear everyone. One guy was a really big Spirit Trail fan and, he kept yelling for songs from that album. We did 'Preacher 1 and 2", they were great. Sonny played a great solo at the end of "The Wild Frontier". It was a show stopper:-) Bruce was in a great mood and, it made the night so much fun. I so miss this band when we are not playing. To me there is not another band around that is as creative on short notice. I love a lot of bands but, this one is special.... We now have a few days off and I am playing golf. Yes, I know it's hard to believe that I would play golf:-) But, I am going to get my Tiger Woods on the next two days.. So, if you live in the St. Louis area, you might want to warn the worms and other golfers. I am on the prowl for a hole in one... Yeah, that will happen when doves fly... Hey a Prince reference..
