Diary: Westhampton Beach, NY – August 10 2008 Okay! Now, as some of you know. I’m just a city boy. I’m not that person that really appreciates nature or anything to natural. I like to have my HBO, ESPN, Hyatts, Hiltons and things like that. I’m not the one for Bed and Breakfast type hotels. Peter informs me on the bus to Hampton Beach that we are staying at a B&B, and on top of that. Bruce wants to spend our day off at this place. NO!!!! I can’t do it. There is too much nature here, I don’t do Nature. I’m the person that just learned to swim this year. Yes! I just learn to swim but, that does not mean that I want to do it or be around it. I don’t want to sit next to the pool, I don’t want feel like I’m staying with my grandmother. I love my grandmother but, I don’t want to sleep at her house :) . (I know, you think that I am mean), that is not true. I just like to think that I have some privacy. Plus, after we checked into this hotel. I tried to take a shower. The show was so small, that I had to leave the shower, turn around and back in, just to wash my back :) The place was nice but, not for me. Remember! NO NATURE!!!!! We played the show at theatre where I made my singing debut. I know some of you remember that show. It was displayed on a web site (shame on you Si). This is a nice place to see a show. Bruce is playing songs from the request that you guys are giving us before the show, and that is making for fun nights. One of the things that we also notice. The audience is getting real slick with the request. We are not getting a lot or request for the “hits”. We are getting more request for songs that maybe were not radio hits but, are hits with the real fan. Thanks for that. As you know, Bruce loves to play off of the path, and because of your request, he is happy to oblige. Once again this is a great show and the small but mighty Hampton Beach audience seem to enjoy every moment. Thanks for the love yall!!
